SARAH GONG

Wenyi Gong has a multidisciplinary background, and is passionate about exploring the intersection between digital media, management, business, design and education.

            

She loves learning new skills, enjoys working with a diverse team of highly motivated individuals, and values the unique skill sets each member brings to a team. As a graduate student in the Master of Digital Media program, Wenyi has worked on a variety of projects in both industry and academia. This experience has allowed her to work with many talented groups, composed of a diverse array of individuals from all walks of life.

          

Before earning her Master of Education degree at the University of British Columbia, she was worked as a public elementary school teacher and program director in China. Outside her career as an educator, Wenyi worked with her close friends to launch a start-up focusing on green energy. She established a foundation that has allowed the company to thrive until this very day.

            

In her spare time, Wenyi practices Taekwondo and participates in marathons. She embraces challenges, viewing them as opportunity to foster learning and growth.
