Here are a few examples of affordance in our daily life.
The water taps and their handles that tell users to turn/push:

The handle of a mug that indicates it can be picked up:

The outlets show that the chargers should be inserted into the wholes:

I found this hook in girls' washroom:) Users can hang their stuff on the hook:
